Motorola Droid Fighter may be released as Motorola Droid Razr HD
We have been hearing a lot many news leaks about Droid Fighter on our previous posts. Here’s some more news about the fancy device. As per leaks available, it is anticipated that Droid Fighter may officially appear as Motorola Droid Razr HD at least on the Verizon front. The word HD suggests that there will be something special and specific in the display. It looks like it might have a 720p ( 1280 X 720 ) screen. Just look into the screen shot given below. It is the photo data leak as available with Droid Life and it also suggests that when this device was in its development stage it had been referred to as Vanquish.
The above picture was leaked from supposed Motorola employee’s Picasa album. It is the photo data leak as available and it also suggests that when this device was in its development stage it had been referred to as Vanquish. We could find out about this leak in the EXIF data. One of the supposed Motorola employees uploaded these leaked pictures. As per the Google Plus profile and LinkedIn page the person leaking these pictures in an Engineer and Manager at Motorola Mobility and his name is Vic Yu. Motorola Droid Razr HD Specifications
From the very little information that’s leaked, we could make out the follow specifications:
- A 720p HD Super AMOLED Display
- Android Ice Cream Sandwich (Build 4.0.3)
- 13 megapixel ( f2.4 aperature from EXIF data )
- Full HD video recording
As per the EXIF files data leak it seems that Razr HD will run on out of the box Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Even though the spec sheet has limited data, one can make out that the rear camera can have aperture of f2.4 which has some similarity with iPhone 4S. Also, the prospective HD feature should impart the device with high-definition screen resolution.
We can understand that how badly Motorola wants its new device to establish. This is because if you put the latest discoveries of Motorola like Motorola Droid Razr and Motorola Droid Razr Maxx in competition with HTC Rezound, Galaxy Nexus and LG Nitro HD, and now Galaxy SIII about to be launched, Moto seems to be a bit on the lower part. This is because Motorola Droid Razr and Razr Maxx only have gHD display and as far as other features are concerned, the competitors stay ahead in the race. With this new Motorola discovery – Droid Razr HD aka Fighter, it seems that the company will be able to adopt many good features to make the android phone quite competitive. In fact, the HD display will surely give this new device the desired benefit; addition of a few other rocking specifications would make it a winner. However, it is not yet clear whether Motorola will use its Super AMOLED Advanced display in this new HD phone or not. Even though we do not have an accurate release date of Droid Razr HD, it should be out to keep up with Galaxy SIII, so we expect it to launch at around middle of May. Let’s wait and watch!
